Who says you have to spend a lot of money to look beautiful? Go scour your kitchen, and you might find you have all you need to create one of these fabulous homemade skin care recipes yourself!
Natural beauty recipes are a fun and affordable way to keep chemicals and toxins away from your sensitive skin. Here are some of our favorite home made skin care recipes, homemade acne treatments and home remedies for eczema.

    1. Anti Aging Skin
    Ingredients
  • 2 Tsp. plain yogurt
  • 1/2 Tsp.honey
  • 1/2 Tsp.lemon juice
  • 3 capsules Vitamin E (300 units)
  • Procedure
    Combine yogurt, honey and lemon juice. Open vitamin E capsules and fold into mix. Leave on face for 15 minutes. Follow with a toner and moisturizer.

    2. Jojoba Oil Recipe
    Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon jojoba oil
  • 1 to 2 drops of frankincense essential oil
  • Procedure
    Mix ingredients and apply to face and neck after cleansing. Do not rinse off. Frankincense gives new life to ageing skin and reputedly smoothes out wrinkles by it's cell regeneration properties. Jojoba oil is one of the best skin lubricants and balancers. It is very similar to the skin's natural oil thus it penetrates and moisturizes without clogging pores.

    3. Nourishing and Softening Facial Mask
    Ingredients
  • 1 Tsp oatmeal
  • 1 Tsp. almond meal
  • 3 Tsp. rosewater
  • Procedure
    Combine ingredients to make a thick paste. Gently smooth on face and neck and leave on for 15 minutes to dry. Rinse with warm water and follow with a toner and moisturizer. The oatmeal in this recipe has a smoothing effect to the face and neck.

    4. Natural Oatmeal Face Cleanser
    Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons oatmeal, ground
  • 2 teaspoons witch hazel
  • Few drops of water
  • Procedure
    Mix all ingredients and apply to face in circular motion. For dry skin add a little olive oil or jojoba oil. Rinse well then apply toner and moisturizer.

    5. Sunflower Moisturizing Cream
    Ingredients
  • 4 tsp. lanolin
  • 2 tsp. emulsifying wax
  • 2 tsp. beeswax
  • 5 tsp. sunflower oil
  • 6 tsp. water
  • 2 tsp. glycerine
  • 1/2 tsp. Borax
  • Procedure
    Melt the beeswax, emulsifying wax and oils in a double boiler or water bath (do not set wax directly over heat). In a separate pan, heat water, glycerine and Borax, making sure the borax is completely dissolved. While the wax is still heating and with a wooden spoon, stir in the water mixture drop by drop. Continual stirring until you get whitish, thick and rich creamy mixture. Sunflower oil is known for its moisturizing qualities. In addition, it acts as a protective layer on the skin and holds moisture in. Furthermore, it contains Vitamin E which is a natural antioxidant. This recipe will leave the skin looking moist and soft.
